Fiscal Year 2024-2025
Clostridium difficile or C. diff, is a germ that causes almost 500,000 infections in the U.S. every year. Holy Spirit Medical Center nurses and the Quality and Safety team created a C. diff testing process to help providers better identify infection symptoms. The result – an immediate and sustained decrease in the C. diff infection rate at Holy Spirit Medical Center.
